The three‑day sourcing fair, set for Feb. 2–4 at the Paris–Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, is one of Europe’s largest platforms connecting manufacturers with global brands, retailers and fashion professionals. Industry officials said the participation reflects European buyers’ growing interest in suppliers that combine reliability with quality, compliance and sustainability. Bangladeshi exhibitors are expected to present woven and knit garments, denim, sweaters and value‑added textile solutions, highlighting improvements in design capability and responsible manufacturing practices.

Texworld Paris comes at a time when global brands are reassessing sourcing strategies amid cost pressures and sustainability targets. For Bangladesh, the fair offers an opportunity to strengthen engagement with European markets, secure long‑term contracts and demonstrate capabilities beyond cost‑competitive manufacturing.

Bangladesh is among the world’s largest apparel exporters, with the European Union remaining a key destination. Trade officials say participation in major sourcing fairs like Texworld is crucial for maintaining visibility, attracting higher‑value orders and supporting export growth in an increasingly competitive global apparel market.
