Ambiente Frankfurt, held from Feb. 6 to 10 at Messe Frankfurt, is regarded as the world’s largest and most influential consumer goods fair, attracting thousands of buyers, retailers, designers and sourcing executives from more than 170 countries. The exhibition focuses on dining, living and giving, and is widely seen as a trend-setting platform for global retail.

Industry insiders say participation at Ambiente offers Bangladeshi companies direct access to premium markets at a time when global retailers are seeking diversified sourcing options amid rising costs and supply chain uncertainty. Demand for environmentally responsible and ethically produced goods has also created new opportunities for Bangladeshi exporters, particularly in jute, ceramics and handcrafted products.

Bangladesh’s expanded presence at Ambiente Frankfurt 2026 reflects a broader strategy to move up the value chain and strengthen its profile in non-apparel exports, analysts said, with international trade fairs playing a key role in building long-term buyer relationships and brand recognition.
