Germany’s Trützschler Group said it is strengthening its long-standing partnership with Italian nonwovens specialist Texnology as the two family-owned companies deepen cooperation ahead of the ITMA 2027 textile machinery exhibition in Hannover.
The companies said their collaboration reflects shared values rooted in family ownership, long-term customer relationships and technological innovation, at a time when textile manufacturers face growing pressure to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Trützschler, a global supplier of machinery for spinning preparation, card clothing and nonwovens, has worked closely with Texnology for several years on advanced needle-punched nonwoven solutions. The partnership combines Trützschler’s expertise in fibre preparation and web forming with Texnology’s needlepunching technology, enabling customers to access integrated production lines tailored to technical textile and filtration applications.

The cooperation has already resulted in joint industrial projects across Europe, including complete nonwoven production lines for high-performance applications, and has been showcased at major industry events such as ITMA Milan in 2023.
In a statement shared on LinkedIn, Trützschler said the partnership will be further highlighted at ITMA 2027, where both companies plan to present combined solutions aimed at meeting demand for higher productivity, energy efficiency and recycled fibre processing.
Trützschler, founded more than 130 years ago, operates globally with production and service sites across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Texnology, based in Italy, is a specialist supplier of needlepunching systems and nonwoven technologies.
The renewed focus on collaboration comes as textile machinery makers increasingly rely on strategic partnerships to address structural challenges in the global textile industry, including rising costs, labour shortages and tightening sustainability requirements.
