German textile machinery maker Brückner Textile Technologies participated in the 18th edition of the Knit‑Tech exhibition in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, showcasing its latest finishing and processing technologies to India’s knitwear industry from March 6 to 9. The company thanked visitors and industry professionals for strong interest in its products and said it expected future projects in the fast‑growing Indian market.
Knit‑Tech 2026, widely recognised as Asia’s premier knitting technology trade fair, brought together leading international and domestic suppliers at the Hi‑Tech Tiruppur Exhibition Center. The event, which has grown through 17 past editions, highlighted innovations in knitting machinery, dyeing and finishing equipment, textile automation solutions and sustainable technologies.

Exhibitors used the four‑day forum to engage directly with manufacturers, exporters and industry decision‑makers from one of the world’s largest knitwear production hubs. Visuals from the event show a bustling expo floor with machinery demonstrations and networking activity, reflecting strong interest in advanced production technologies.
Among other notable participants were German textile solutions provider SETEX Schermuly textile computer GmbH, which showcased production data and automation systems at its booth, and Swiss finishing technology firm Benninger, which presented dyeing and finishing solutions designed to boost efficiency and sustainability.
Industry analysts said the exhibition underscored India’s continued investment in textile technology, as manufacturers seek to improve productivity and meet global demand for knitwear. Market watchers view Tirupur’s Knit‑Tech as a key platform for suppliers to launch products and secure orders ahead of peak sourcing seasons.
