The Level-1 programme consists of two core tracks. The first, Research Skills & Academic Writing, runs for four weeks and focuses on research design, literature review techniques, academic writing conventions and manuscript preparation for scholarly journals. The second, Digital Fashion Innovation, spans eight weeks and examines emerging digital workflows in fashion, including technology integration, innovation processes, and research-driven design practices.

According to CRISAT, the courses aim to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional research practice by offering structured mentorship and exposure to global academic standards. Weekly online sessions will be conducted by international and regional experts, led by Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem from Manchester, UK, alongside experienced local specialists.

The programme will be delivered entirely online, enabling participants from diverse geographical locations to attend. Organizers emphasize that the initiative forms part of CRISAT’s broader mission to empower future researchers in textile and fashion by equipping them with essential analytical, writing, and digital innovation skills.
