The store, located at Ispahani Centre in Lalkhan Bazar, was officially inaugurated on March 8 by DBL Group’s top leadership including Chairman Abdul Wahed, Managing Director M. A. Company officials said the new retail destination is designed to offer customers in Chattogram access to globally recognized brands known for performance sportswear, streetwear fashion and iconic denim.
Adidas and Nike are among the world’s leading athletic apparel brands, while Levi’s is globally renowned for its heritage denim products sold in more than 100 countries through thousands of retail outlets.
DBL Lifestyles Limited acts as the authorised retail partner for several international brands including Adidas, Nike, Puma and Levi’s in Bangladesh, expanding access to global fashion labels for local consumers.
The company said the newly opened outlet aims to provide a premium shopping experience by combining global fashion trends with the growing demand among Bangladeshi consumers for international lifestyle brands.
Industry analysts note that Bangladesh’s expanding middle-income population and increasing urban consumer spending have encouraged international fashion brands to enter the country’s retail market in recent years.
DBL Group has been gradually expanding its branded retail footprint as demand for premium sportswear and lifestyle products grows, particularly among younger consumers.
The Chattogram outlet represents the company’s effort to strengthen its presence outside Dhaka and tap into the port city’s rising retail market.
Retail industry observers say Chattogram, Bangladesh’s second-largest city and major commercial hub, has emerged as an important destination for international fashion brands seeking to expand their footprint in the country.
The opening of the multi-brand outlet also reflects a broader trend of global apparel brands partnering with local conglomerates to enter Bangladesh’s fast-growing consumer market.
DBL Group, widely known for its presence in the textile and apparel manufacturing sector, has in recent years expanded into lifestyle retail through DBL Lifestyles Limited as part of its diversification strategy.
Company officials said the new store will offer a wide range of products including performance sportswear, footwear, casual apparel and denim collections.
The launch event highlighted DBL Group’s ambition to create world-class retail environments that bring global fashion closer to Bangladeshi consumers.
With Bangladesh’s apparel consumption steadily rising alongside economic growth and urbanisation, industry experts believe the expansion of international retail brands will continue to reshape the country’s fashion landscape.
The Chattogram outlet is expected to attract fashion enthusiasts, sportswear consumers and young shoppers seeking access to globally popular brands in a modern retail environment.
