The Fiera Milano (Rho) fairgrounds welcomed industry professionals from around the world as Milano Unica opens its doors on July 8, running through July 10. Spanning Halls 1 to 4, the Italian fabric fair will bring together over 1,000 companies presenting their latest collections for Autumn/Winter 2026/27 and Spring/Summer 2027.
Originally formed through the unification of leading trade shows—Moda In, IdeaBiella, Shirt Avenue, and Mare di Moda—Milano Unica has become a benchmark for innovation and excellence in the global textile sector. For its 41st edition, special events are planned, including an opening ceremony and press conference at 11 a.m., focused on celebrating Made in Italy craftsmanship. Throughout the fair, dance performances under the banner of Performing MU Trends will take place hourly, adding a cultural dimension to the business-focused environment.
The Lycra Company has confirmed its participation, using the event to promote its new bio-derived Lycra elastane yarn. Visitors will find the company’s brand lounge in Hall 4 within the Mare di Moda area. Sustainable fashion consultancy C.L.A.S.S. will also be present, showcasing innovative, smart materials through collaborations with several global partners across Halls 2, 3, and 4. One notable feature of the show will be the Alptextyle project, which presents a local wool-based textile ecosystem, located at booth T08 in Hall 4.
