Dutch manufacturing output increased in October, posting a 1.9 per cent year-on-year rise after calendar adjustments, according to new figures from Statistics Netherlands. Roughly 60 per cent of industrial sectors recorded higher production than a year earlier, indicating broadly distributed gains across the sector.
Seasonally and working-day adjusted output rose 0.2 per cent compared with September, signalling a slight monthly uptick following earlier stagnation. The increase was supported by improvements in several mid-sized industrial segments, even as momentum remained uneven.

Producer confidence weakened in November, shifting further into negative territory. Manufacturers reported greater concern about current stock levels and showed less optimism about production expectations for the next three months, suggesting persistent caution despite the October output rise.
The combination of modest production growth and declining sentiment highlights the mixed outlook facing Dutch industry as businesses continue to navigate soft demand conditions and inventory pressures.
