The inaugural episode, organized by Fashion Business Journal in collaboration with BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), will take place virtually.

Fashion and apparel industries worldwide are facing growing challenges, including overproduction, changing consumer behaviors, sustainability pressures, and supply chain disruptions. Inside Fashion provides a platform for experts, policymakers, academics, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful discussions, offering solutions and sharing experiences that span global markets.

The first episode, titled “Value Over Volume – A New Vision for RMG and Global Fashion”, will feature a panel of academics, industry professionals, and sustainability experts. Discussions will focus on aligning production with demand, promoting fair pricing, adopting responsible practices, and leveraging technology and innovation to optimize the global supply chain.

The upcoming webinar will feature distinguished guests Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology; Robert Antoshak, VP of Global Strategic Sourcing & Development at Grey Matter Concepts; Prof. Sadat Sayem, Lead of the Digital Fashion Innovation Research Project at Manchester Fashion Institute; and Sheikh H M Mustafiz, Managing Director of Cute Dress Industry Ltd. The session will be moderated by Prof. Sharif As-Saber, Editor-in-Chief of Fashion Business Journal and President of the Governance and Administration Innovation Network (GAIN International).
