IN Button Ltd., a unit linked to China’s D&J Corporation, is positioning itself to become one of Bangladesh’s largest metal accessories manufacturers, industry executives and local business records show.
The company’s new production facility in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone in Narayanganj is being developed on a large scale to produce metal buttons and related trims for the readymade garment sector, according to industry reporting and corporate information. The project is part of a broader trend of foreign investment in the country’s garments supply chain that aims to reduce import dependence and boost backward linkages.
Executives said IN Button’s operations are designed to meet global buyer demand for high quality and sustainable manufacturing. The company is integrating energy‑efficient machinery, resource‑management systems and strategies aimed at reducing waste and environmental impact as it seeks international compliance and accreditation.

CES corporate briefs list IN Button as a manufacturer that works closely with global supply partners to deliver trims and accessories, and highlight its emphasis on environmentally friendly materials and production practices. Company documents also list its head office and manufacturing base within Adamjee EPZ, underscoring its commitment to serving both domestic garment makers and international markets.
The expansion of garment accessories manufacturing in Bangladesh comes amid continued growth of the country’s apparel exports, which account for a major share of foreign exchange earnings. A recent wave of investment by Chinese and other foreign companies into accessory production facilities reflects efforts to capture more value within the apparel supply chain and improve delivery times for global brands.
Industry analysts say such capacity build‑outs at trimming and accessories facilities could strengthen Bangladesh’s competitiveness in worldwide markets, particularly if they achieve high standards of quality and sustainability sought by international buyers.
