Indorama Ventures Partners with PolySource for Specialty Polymer Distribution

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical leader and major producer of specialty co-polyesters, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with PolySource, a leading distributor of high-performance polymer solutions. Under the agreement, PolySource will serve as an authorized distributor of Indorama Ventures’ specialty PET and PEN polymers across North America and select international markets.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Indorama Ventures’ Combined PET (CPET) segment, enhancing its global presence in the specialty polyesters sector. The partnership aims to unlock new growth by expanding the reach of advanced polymers used in applications requiring regulatory compliance, durability, and innovation—particularly in the cosmetics, electronics, medical, defense, and industrial sectors.

Marc Potemans, Head of Specialty Chemicals at Indorama Ventures, expressed optimism about the partnership: “We’re delighted to partner with PolySource, a company that mirrors our passion for innovation and customer success. This agreement allows customers greater access to our most advanced specialty polyesters, with the technical support and market reach of a proven partner like PolySource. Together, we are enabling innovation in sectors where materials matter most.”

The agreement brings several key benefits for customers:

  • Enhanced technical support and formulation guidance to fast-track innovation and product development.

  • Tailored solutions for demanding applications, from high-clarity cosmetic packaging to heat-resistant electronics.

Effective from June 2025, the partnership underscores Indorama Ventures’ commitment to customer-focused innovation and its strategic intent to strengthen its position in the specialty chemicals space.
