Around a thousand French manufacturers are expected to take part in the 13th edition of the MIF Expo, the annual “Made in France” trade fair, which will be held from November 6 to 9 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris. Organizers expect about 100,000 visitors to attend the event, which highlights locally produced goods across multiple sectors, including 282 clothing and footwear specialists and 127 beauty and well-being exhibitors.

Launched in 2012, MIF Expo has become a flagship event for French craftsmanship and domestic production, attracting both professionals and the general public. Often dubbed the second Paris Fair, the exhibition will once again occupy Hall 3 of the Parc des Expositions, with themed sections such as “Fashion & Accessories,” “Beauty & Well-being,” “Home & Decoration,” “Leisure & Childhood,” and “Gastronomy.” Nine regional pavilions will showcase products from areas including Normandy, Occitanie, Aveyron, Marseille, and Île-de-France.

The Union of Textile Industries (UIT) will participate through a collective stand branded “UIT – Textile by France,” positioning itself as a “virtuous alternative” to Black Friday. Among the featured exhibitors are Alsatian manufacturer Hartmann Euro-TH, Basque clothing workshop Artiga, and La Chaussette Française, created from the merger of the Tismail and Boldoduc factories.

The Alliance France Cuir will also represent the French leather sector, bringing together several members such as Bandit Manchot, Domestique, Cordiz, Moholess, Allemandi, and shoemakers including Evi Shoes, Paraboot, Heschung, Le Soulor, and Gatine. Accessories producers like Le Gantier, Vaincourt, and Camille Fournet will also be present.

As in previous years, the 2025 edition will feature the “Made in France Grand Prix,” rewarding innovation and excellence in French manufacturing. This year’s nominees include children’s brand La Bouriquette, leather goods makers Courtois Paris and La Cartablière, knitwear specialist Maison Bonnefoy, Roubaix-based workshop-café Les Trois Tricoteurs, and hair recycling pioneer Capillum.

The 2024 edition, held from November 8 to 11, drew 110,000 visitors, with organizers reporting that 93% made purchases from the exhibitors. Past award winners included Le Briochin natural soaps, La Cartablière bags and accessories, and Airplum slippers.

MIF Expo 2025 aims to reaffirm the vitality of French industry and sustainable consumption by showcasing the creativity, quality, and resilience of local producers.
