Masco Group, a major Bangladeshi knit composite and apparel manufacturing company, said on 27 January, Tuesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Laser Dental to strengthen employee wellbeing and establish a long-term partnership focused on workforce health, according to a company social media announcement.
Under the agreement, Masco Group will work with Laser Dental to improve access to dental healthcare services and preventive care for its workforce, part of wider efforts by employers in Bangladesh to bolster employee health benefits and workplace wellbeing. The collaboration aims to integrate tailored dental care services into Masco’s employee health programs over the coming years.

Masco Group, headquartered in Dhaka and known for its extensive garment production and composite operations, has emphasized workforce development and wellbeing as key elements of its corporate strategy, reflecting broader labor welfare trends in the region. The company employs hundreds of workers in Bangladesh and abroad, with strong internal commitments to safety and social responsibility.
Laser Dental, a dental care provider in Dhaka offering general and specialized dental services, will support Masco employees with clinical expertise and preventive dental care under the partnership framework. The initiative underscores corporate Bangladesh’s growing interest in aligning employee health services with long-term organisational performance goals.
Analysts say employer-led health partnerships can reduce absenteeism and healthcare costs while improving productivity, a priority for large manufacturing firms in competitive labor markets.
