U.S.-based textile-to-textile recycling pioneer Circ® and Spanish next-generation textile R&D firm PYRATEX® have deepened their collaboration. The partnership is set to integrate Circ’s recycled polyester and lyocell fibres into PYRATEX’s fabric lines, marking a strategic move to scale circular textiles across Europe and reinforce supply chain sustainability.
Building on over three years of joint development, the collaboration has already delivered successful fabric prototypes using Circ’s recycled materials. PYRATEX has initiated selected bulk production runs for pioneering clients as part of this expansion.
This alliance coincides with Circ’s cleantech ambitions, notably its upcoming industrial-scale recycling facility in Saint-Avold, France. The new hub will enable higher-volume supply of recycled fibres, creating a viable substitute for traditional polyester and lyocell across high-performance circular textiles.

“PYRATEX has built a reputation for turning bold ideas into real, scalable fabric solutions,” said Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ. “Their early partnership and continued investment in Circ fibres reflects a deeper shift as long-term commitments are taking shape to support circularity at industrial scale.”
Echoing the sentiment, Regina Polanco, CEO of PYRATEX, stated: “Circ’s technology gives us what the industry desperately needs: true recycled fibres of fashion’s most widely used textiles. Through this partnership, we can integrate these solutions directly into our textile formulas—delivering quality, performance, and design flexibility that brands need while reducing impact at scale.”
The partnership serves both companies’ mission to pivot the fashion industry away from virgin materials and toward circular, high-quality alternatives—without compromising on feel, function, or aesthetics.
