Held every three years, the event is widely regarded as the world’s leading exhibition dedicated to nonwoven materials and technologies, a segment used in products ranging from hygiene items and medical textiles to filtration systems, automotive components and construction materials.

Organisers expect around 600 exhibitors to participate across approximately 50,000 square metres of exhibition space, with more than 12,000 industry professionals from over 100 countries anticipated to attend. About 70% of visitors are typically decision‑makers, underscoring the event’s importance as a global networking and deal‑making platform.

INDEX 26 will showcase innovations spanning raw materials, advanced fibres, machinery and finished nonwoven products, reflecting growing demand for high‑performance and sustainable materials across industrial and consumer applications.

Alongside the exhibition floor, the programme will feature seminars, tutorials and product presentations, culminating in the INDEX Awards ceremony that recognises breakthroughs in nonwoven technology and product development.

First launched in 1984 and hosted in Geneva since then, the triennial show has become a strategic meeting point for companies shaping the future of the nonwovens sector, particularly as industries accelerate innovation in areas such as filtration, hygiene and environmentally responsible materials.

As global supply chains increasingly seek lightweight, durable and recyclable materials, INDEX 26 is expected to provide a key snapshot of how the nonwovens industry is evolving to meet sustainability and performance demands across multiple sectors.
