Recover has launched its ISO‑Accredited Lab Services, a new initiative aimed at strengthening quality assurance, traceability and sustainability in textile production, the company said on Thursday. The service expands Recover’s offering beyond recycled fiber production to include ISO 17025‑accredited testing and analysis of both recycled and virgin textile materials, providing manufacturers and brands with rigorous, standardized laboratory results.

The new lab services are designed to meet a critical industry need for independent, technically competent testing of fibers, yarns, fabrics and garments. By operating under the ISO 17025 standard — which specifies general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories and ensures accuracy and reliability — Recover aims to support brands in validating material performance and compliance with sustainability claims.

Recover said the service will also help drive greater transparency and traceability throughout the textile supply chain, aligning analytical results with the rising demand for sustainable sourcing and circular business models. The lab can perform physical and chemical characterizations and offers specialized services, such as restricted‑substance‑list compliance testing and tracer identification, through its global partner network.

The launch of the lab services is part of a broader push by Recover to set industry benchmarks in quality and sustainability. The company, known for turning textile waste into high‑quality recycled cotton fiber and blends, already holds ISO 9001 quality management certification across its facilities, reinforcing continuous improvement and customer satisfaction priorities.

Recover operates a network of laboratories and production hubs across Spain, Bangladesh, Vietnam and El Salvador, ensuring consistent application of its standards worldwide. The move into accredited testing positions the company as a partner not only in material supply but also in performance validation for textile stakeholders seeking credible and standardized lab results.
