Softbond Nonwovens, a leading Argentinian producer of nonwoven materials and a long-term customer of A.Celli, has chosen A.Celli’s state-of-the-art equipment for its new spunlaid nonwovens production line focused on hygienic and medical applications.
A.Celli will provide a comprehensive solution including the E-WIND STREAM PLUS winder, the E-WIND SUPER RAPID slitter rewinder equipped with an automatic shaft handling system, and the R-WAY automatic packaging line. This packaging system features reel transfer, sorting, up-ending, and wrapping functionalities tailored specifically for Softbond’s new spunlaid line at its Buenos Aires facility.
The new production line is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2025.
Alessio Romanelli of Softbond highlighted the strong partnership with A.Celli since 1996, emphasizing that this new installation marks a significant step forward in increasing production capacity and meeting the rising demand in hygiene and medical sectors across Argentina and South America.
