Italian textile machinery maker Savio will present its latest winding and spinning innovations at ITMA Asia Singapore 2025, highlighting three flagship machines designed to integrate artificial intelligence, automation and digital monitoring into yarn production.
The company said the Proxima Smartconer®, Lybra Smartspinner® and Phoenix Assembly Winder will be the focus of its showcase.
The Proxima Smartconer® platform will be offered in multiple configurations, including fully automatic and manual feeding options. Upgrades include an AI-powered yarn-end capture system, adaptive tension control, and Savio Insight – a web-based tool for remote setup, data tracking and real-time performance analysis. The company said the platform is aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing operating costs and lowering energy consumption.

The Phoenix Assembly Winder, which returns to Singapore two decades after its initial debut, has been updated with digital features. It is designed for precision winding assembly with yarn take-up speeds of up to 1,000 metres per minute and compatibility across a wide range of fibre yarns, including cotton, wool, silk and blends.
The Lybra Smartspinner®, an air-jet spinning machine, introduces a “Multi Blend System” that enables on-the-fly fibre blending inside the spinning chamber. Savio said this allows manufacturers to reduce preparation costs and create unique blends and melange effects for applications in knitting, home textiles and technical fabrics.
