Texhibition Istanbul Attracts 19,325 Professionals, Boosts Turkish Textile Exports

The latest edition of Texhibition Istanbul attracted 19,325 industry professionals, reinforcing Istanbul’s growing importance as a global textile sourcing hub and creating new opportunities for export-oriented manufacturers.

Held at the Istanbul Expo Center, the exhibition brought together more than 500 textile producers showcasing fabrics, yarns, denim, embroidery and textile accessories to international buyers from Europe, the United States, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

The strong international turnout highlighted Türkiye’s strategic role in the global textile supply chain, particularly for European brands seeking near-shore suppliers with shorter lead times and flexible production. Industry participants used the fair to present new seasonal collections and secure sourcing agreements for upcoming production cycles.

Organisers said the exhibition served as a key platform for strengthening export partnerships. Turkish manufacturers reported strong interest from overseas buyers looking to diversify sourcing destinations and shorten supply chains amid ongoing global logistics disruptions.

Innovation and sustainability were central themes throughout the event. Dedicated sections showcased recycled fibres, sustainable fabrics and advanced finishing technologies aimed at helping suppliers meet increasingly strict environmental standards in the global fashion industry.

Special concept areas also highlighted emerging industry trends. The Blue Black Texhibition section focused on denim innovation and sustainable washing technologies, while the ReValue Stock Hub promoted circularity by encouraging the reuse of surplus fabrics and materials.

Türkiye remains one of the world’s major textile producers and exporters, supplying fabrics and garments to many global fashion brands. Trade exhibitions such as Texhibition play a key role in connecting the country’s manufacturing base with international buyers and reinforcing its position as a competitive sourcing destination for the global apparel industry.
