The Vietnam Saigon Textile & Garment Industry Expo 2026, known as SaigonTex & SaigonFabric, is set to open on April 8 and run through April 11 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, bringing together leading machinery makers, material suppliers and garment manufacturers from around the world. The UFI‑certified event is expected to draw more than 32,000 trade visitors and over 1,000 enterprises from about 22 countries and regions, highlighting Vietnam’s growing role as a hub for textile and apparel production in Southeast Asia.
Organisers and exhibitors say the expo will showcase the latest developments in textile and garment machinery, fabrics, non‑woven materials, accessories, dyes and quality control solutions as global brands seek efficiency and sustainability in production lines. Key features of the 30,000‑square‑metre show include demonstrations of artificial intelligence applications for production management, smart factory automation and eco‑friendly materials that support circular economy practices, a reflection of wider industry trends toward digitalisation and green manufacturing.

Major industry players are using SaigonTex as a platform to launch advanced solutions. For example, chemicals specialist Archroma plans to present sustainable dyeing technologies that boost performance while reducing environmental impact, marking its first participation at the event, and German firm Emtec will highlight digital textile testing systems to improve supply‑chain communication and cut waste.
Organised with support from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association and the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, the exhibition also includes seminars, product presentations and networking programmes designed to help local and international businesses forge partnerships and explore new markets.
Analysts say SaigonTex’s focus on automation and sustainability underscores the industry’s response to competitive pressures and shifting global supply‑chain dynamics as manufacturers adjust to digital transformation and environmental, social and governance demands from global buyers.
