Archroma, the global specialty chemicals group best known for supplying dyes and finishing agents to the textile industry, was recognised as a top chemicals supplier for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position in sustainable textile chemistry as demand grows for cleaner, lower-impact manufacturing.
The company said the distinction came through its Champion status at the 2025 adiFormulator Award by adidas, underlining Archroma’s efforts to improve chemical management standards, promote collaboration among suppliers and formulators, and drive compliance with higher environmental and safety standards across textile supply chains.

Archroma’s 2025 performance has also been marked by other high-profile recognitions and initiatives that reflect broader industry trends toward environmental, social and governance (ESG) leadership. It earned the EcoVadis Gold sustainability rating for the second year running, placing it among the top 5 % of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide for environmental practices, labour standards, ethics and sustainable procurement. Rajiv Sharma, Archroma’s CEO, said the rating affirmed the company’s strategy of integrating sustainability across its operations and delivering measurable impact for customers and communities.
Earlier in 2025, Archroma won the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) Sustainability & Innovation Award for DENIM HALO, a new denim pretreatment and dyeing process that significantly reduces water and energy use while cutting greenhouse gas emissions and improving worker safety compared with traditional distressed denim production methods.
