SA1NT, the performance motorcycle apparel maker, has expanded its product line with the launch of a new lightweight CORETEC 12 oz riding jean, designed to combine breathable comfort with enhanced safety for motorcyclists. The company said the jeans use a proprietary tri‑core yarn technology that wraps ultra‑high‑molecular‑weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) around a flexible Lycra core and insulates it with a cotton outer layer, creating a first‑of‑its‑kind fabric engineered for abrasion resistance and rider comfort.
In a statement, SA1NT described the innovative construction as a blend of comfort and protection, noting that the new denim uses a combination of cotton and nylon yarns across the warp to deliver strength, flexibility and durability without the weight associated with traditional protective jeans. The result is a breathable 12 oz denim intended to improve comfort on longer rides while maintaining high levels of safety should a crash occur.

The launch underscores a broader trend by motorcycle gear manufacturers toward lighter materials that do not compromise on protective performance. Riders have increasingly sought apparel that can transition from the road to everyday wear, a demand SA1NT aims to meet with its updated CORETEC fabric.
Industry analysts say developments in advanced fiber technology are reshaping motorcycle apparel, enabling manufacturers to produce gear that riders are comfortable wearing for extended periods without sacrificing protective qualities.
SA1NT’s new 12 oz CORETEC riding jeans will be available through its online store and select retailers, with pricing and availability to be announced in the coming weeks. The company said the product reflects its ongoing commitment to rider safety and comfort innovation.
