According to the newly appointed advisers, the couple — known for their business success and social-service efforts — will leverage their local and international exposure to promote socio-economic development.

They pledged to work for both national and international human-development, including efforts to improve Bangladesh’s global standing and attract investment through human-rights–grounded development initiatives.

Speakers at the event outlined the organisation’s future agenda: monitoring elections, promoting labour-owner relations, supporting poverty alleviation, and collaborating with national and international agencies for broader socio-economic development.
