Bangladesh’s textile and garment sector, a backbone of the country’s export-led economy, is gearing up for three major trade shows opening on January 14, 2026 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
The 15th Garments Accessories & Packaging Expo (GAPEXPO-2026), the 23rd Garment Technology Bangladesh (GTB-2026) and The 12th International Yarn, Fabrics & Accessories Sourcing Show will run concurrently through January 17, offering an integrated platform for global buyers, suppliers and industry stakeholders to explore the latest in apparel components, fabrics, machinery and sourcing opportunities.
Organised by the Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) in collaboration with ASK Trade & Exhibitions, the events are expected to draw hundreds of exhibitors from more than 18 countries, including India, Japan, China, Vietnam, South Korea and Germany, with nearly 1,500 stalls showcasing products from accessories and raw materials to advanced garment technologies.

The week’s opening ceremony on Wednesday at ICCB will feature senior industry figures and government representatives, highlighting the sector’s pivotal role in Bangladesh’s economic growth and export trajectory. Organisers say the showcases will underline the strength of the country’s backward linkage industries and facilitate networking, technology exchange and business deals that underpin expansion of ready-made garment supply chains.
Bangladesh’s garment industry, which supplies apparel to major global brands, continues to be one of the fastest-growing textile manufacturing hubs in Asia, with these annual expos seen as critical barometers of future trade flows and industry innovation.
