Saurer reaffirmed its commitment to advancing textile manufacturing technology at Irantex 2026, the major Iranian textile machinery exhibition held from January 2 to 5, by putting its latest spinning preparation solutions in the spotlight for local mills and industry professionals. Saurer Group, headquartered in Arbon, Switzerland, is a globally operating technology company specializing in machinery and components for fibre and yarn processing.
At the event, Saurer leaders highlighted the company’s expanded focus on spinning preparation machinery over the past few years, underscoring the strategic importance of this segment for improving efficiency, quality and competitiveness in modern spinning operations. Though the full process couldn’t be shown live, the Saurer booth featured key carding and drawing frame technologies that represent the initial and critical stages of yarn production, giving visitors hands-on insight into how these systems can be deployed in real-world production lines.

Executives noted that many Iranian mills are still catching up with the latest advances in preparation technology, making exhibitions like Irantex a valuable platform for face-to-face technical exchange and in-depth dialogue between machine designers and factory managers. The discussions at the show helped bridge gaps in awareness of Saurer’s recent upgrades and capabilities, reinforcing the company’s presence in a challenging market environment while showcasing solutions that can boost performance from the very start of the spinning process.
Saurer’s participation also aligned with broader trends the company has been driving globally — including innovations in automation, energy-efficient spinning systems such as its Autocoro series for recycled fibres, and advanced ring-spinning platforms that collectively aim to make yarn production more flexible, sustainable and cost-effective.
