Mini Garments Owners Unite to Strengthen Export Readiness

The Mini Garments Owners Community successfully organized its second meetup today in Dhaka, bringing together domestic garment manufacturers, industry experts, and community supporters to discuss ways to strengthen Bangladesh’s garment sector and expand access to export markets.

The event was graced by Mr. Salauddin of Reaz Garments as the Chief Guest, who highlighted the importance of building a collaborative platform for small and mid-sized manufacturers. He emphasized capacity building, knowledge sharing, and connecting local manufacturers to global apparel supply chains.

Representatives from key sponsors and supporters, including BUNON and the Textile & Garments Merchandising Blog, shared insights on market development, merchandising strategies, and practical steps to help domestic manufacturers compete internationally. Several industry professionals, community organizers, and mini-garment owners were present, reflecting a growing interest in collaborative development and export readiness.

 

 

The community aims to unite domestic manufacturers under a single platform, guide them on best practices, and facilitate opportunities for participation in international markets. Organizers expressed hope that industry bodies such as BGMEA, BKMEA, and BGBA will actively support this initiative, strengthen Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry while fostering knowledge sharing among manufacturers
