The state-of-the-art facility, designed to strengthen teamwork and operational agility, was unveiled at a ceremony attended by senior officials, clients, partners, and employees.

The move to Baar, in the business-friendly canton of Zug, consolidates multiple corporate offices into a single modern campus and reflects SGS’s ambition to foster closer collaboration across its global teams while supporting its Strategy 27 growth agenda. The headquarters’ opening also resonates with broader trends in corporate real estate and workplace design, as firms worldwide re-evaluate the role of physical office spaces in supporting hybrid work models and cross-border collaboration. SGS’s facility is positioned as a hub for talent, technology, and innovation, a place where diverse teams can converge to tackle complex challenges in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.

The inauguration of the Baar headquarters is the latest chapter in SGS’s evolution from a regional inspection service to a global leader in testing, certification and assurance, a journey that spans nearly 150 years and continues to adapt to the demands of an increasingly interconnected and standards-driven world.
