Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will bring nearly 600 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions to Shanghai from Aug. 25-27, highlighting advanced fibres, sustainable yarns and material innovation for the global textile industry.
The three-day event will take place at Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), covering 27,000 square metres. Opening hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The event is expected to attract textile and garment manufacturers, importers, exporters, trading companies, wholesalers, retailers, buying offices, home-textile businesses, designers and industry institutions. The previous edition drew more than 22,000 visitors from 111 countries and regions.
China’s major fibre producers, including Fujian Cyclone Technology, Shenghong Group and Huafon Chemical, will participate, while international exhibitors include Cotton Council International, PT Indo-Rama Synthetics, Toray Industries and The Lurex Company. Country and regional pavilions from India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Taiwan will expand sourcing opportunities.

Products will cover cotton, wool, silk, linen, flax, ramie, regenerated and synthetic fibres, as well as elastic, fancy, knitting and specialty yarns. Recycled, organic, functional and other lower-impact materials are expected to feature prominently as textile manufacturers face increasing sustainability and traceability demands.
The exhibition will feature seven specialised zones, including Chemical Fibre, Fancy Yarn, Cotton Yarn, Linen, Silk, Cashmere and Wool, alongside an International Zone. The Chemical Fibre Zone alone will feature more than 260 exhibitors, while the Fancy Yarn Zone will include nearly 100 suppliers.
Beyond product sourcing, the programme will include the China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone, Textile Material Innovation Forum, trend presentations and product launches.
Yarn Expo Autumn will run alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC and PH Value, creating a wider sourcing platform for fibres, yarns, fabrics, fashion and knitted products.
The event is expected to give international buyers a closer look at emerging yarn technologies and material trends while providing suppliers with opportunities to expand global business.
