The LYCRA Company, a global leader in sustainable fibers, will attend Milano Unica from July 8 to 10, 2025. For the third year in a row, LYCRA will showcase its latest innovations at the LYCRA Brand Lounge in Hall 4, MarediModa area. In addition, the company will present previews of SS27 fabric and accessory collections for swimwear, underwear, and athleisure.
Moreover, LYCRA will highlight its bio-derived EcoMade fibre, the world’s first renewable elastane fiber produced at commercial scale. It contains 70% renewable materials such as field corn. Importantly, EcoMade delivers the same performance and comfort as traditional elastane. Therefore, manufacturers can use it with existing production processes without changing designs.
At Milano Unica, LYCRA will also publicly present apparel made with EcoMade fibre for the first time in Italy. Furthermore, the Lounge will display garments from Carvico, a leading Italian technical fabric maker, and Agolde, a premium American denim brand.

Alistair Williamson, Vice President EMEA and South Asia at The LYCRA Company, said, “Innovation and sustainability must go hand in hand. We aim to deliver scalable solutions that offer comfort, performance, and environmental care. As a result, Milano Unica is the perfect stage to show how our partnerships make this vision a reality.”
