The Dhaka University Alumni Apparel Foundation (DUAAF) has announced its full Executive Committee for the 2025–2027 term, marking the organisation’s first complete leadership panel since its formation.
The Election Commission confirmed the results late on Sunday, selecting AKM Shoaib as President and Arafatul Islam (Arafat) as General Secretary for the two-year term.
Chief Election Commissioner Matiur Rahman said the newly formed committee will guide DUAAF toward a more organised and professional structure, strengthening coordination among Dhaka University alumni working across Bangladesh’s apparel and textile industries.

Rahman emphasised that DUAAF aims to serve as an inclusive professional network, free from political or religious divides, and focused on building leadership, knowledge-sharing and industry collaboration.
