Global denim manufacturers and sustainability innovators are gathering in London this week for “Denim Deal Days,” an industry event aimed at accelerating the shift toward circular production and recycled materials in the fashion sector.

The event, organised by the Denim Deal initiative in partnership with London-based denim hub LaundRE, brings together mills, solution providers and supply chain stakeholders to showcase new approaches to circular denim manufacturing.

Participating companies include major denim producers such as Advance Denim, Bhaskar Denim, BOSSA, DEMCO, DNM Denim, İSKUR, Kipas Denim and Soorty Enterprises, reflecting broad international engagement across the value chain.

The gathering underscores growing industry efforts to scale the use of post-consumer recycled cotton and reduce textile waste, as regulators and brands push for more sustainable sourcing. The Denim Deal, a multi-stakeholder initiative, has been promoting circular denim solutions and highlighting the potential of recycled cotton to reshape the sector.

Hosting the event is LaundRE, a UK-based circular denim facility focused on low-impact finishing technologies such as laser processing, ozone treatment and water-saving washing systems. The company says its processes can significantly cut water use, emissions and waste while enabling brands to rework unsold inventory and shorten supply chains.

The London meet comes at a time when the denim industry faces mounting pressure to address environmental concerns, with millions of tonnes of textile waste generated annually and increasing regulatory scrutiny in key markets. Initiatives like Denim Deal Days are positioning collaboration and innovation as central to making circularity commercially viable.

Industry participants say the event is less about pledges and more about implementation, as companies test scalable solutions that integrate recycled fibres, improve traceability and reduce reliance on virgin materials.
With sustainability moving from pilot projects to production scale, the London event signals a broader shift in the global denim sector toward practical, business-driven circular models.
