J.Jill, Inc. (NYSE: JILL) is strengthening its position in the denim market with an expanded jean collection and a new influencer-driven marketing campaign designed to highlight the brand’s focus on fabric, fit and comfort.
Expanded Denim Collection
The updated assortment builds on J.Jill’s best-selling Authentic Fit Slim Leg jeans while introducing additional fits, leg shapes, fabric blends and washes. The company has also launched a new Modern Fit range featuring a true mid-rise design in straight, wide-leg and flare silhouettes.
The collections use J.Jill’s signature stretch denim and are available in petite, misses and plus sizes. Rather than simply scaling the same design across sizes, the company has adjusted fit and proportions for each size category.
Prices range from $89 to $119, with the collection available through J.Jill stores, its e-commerce platform and catalogs.
Influencer-Led Marketing
J.Jill is supporting the denim expansion with a creator-focused campaign featuring fashion influencers and stylists from different generations. The roster includes Lucy Hernandez , Tomeka Crowe Cherry and Veronica Levy among other creators.
The campaign features women wearing and styling the new denim collection, with content distributed across J.Jill’s stores, digital platforms, website and direct-mail channels.

J.Jill SVP and CMO Kimberly Wallengren said the initiative addresses the challenge many women experience when searching for jeans that provide the right combination of fit and comfort. The company is combining multiple silhouettes, creator-led styling inspiration and in-store expertise to make the denim-shopping experience more personalized.
Store-Level Fit Focus
The company is also taking the fit strategy directly into its stores. J.Jill is hosting denim-focused events in selected markets, including an event at its Columbus Avenue store in New York City on August 13, where customers can receive styling guidance and explore the new collection.
In addition, J.Jill is training store associates across its approximately 250-store network to serve as denim fit specialists. The move is intended to ensure that the brand’s fit-focused approach extends beyond advertising and into the customer experience.
Denim as a Growth Opportunity
The expanded denim strategy highlights J.Jill’s growing focus on the category. By building on its strongest-selling jean, adding more silhouettes and sizes, and combining influencer marketing with specialized in-store assistance, the retailer aims to attract a broader customer base and differentiate itself in the competitive women’s apparel market. The initiative ultimately positions fit, fabric and personalized service as key elements of J.Jill’s denim strategy.
