Sirajganj Economic Zone Limited (SEZL) staged an investor roadshow in Bogura on Thursday, drawing about 75 local entrepreneurs as the company pitches its northern industrial park to regional business leaders.
The “Bogura Investor Roadshow 2026” briefed prospective investors on industrial plot availability, infrastructure and business-friendly incentives at the Sirajganj Economic Zone, part of Bangladesh’s push to decentralize manufacturing investment beyond Dhaka and Chattogram.
Dr. Engr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, SEZL’s director, opened the event, saying regional roadshows help drive national industrialization and widen the investor base. Lt. Col. Md.

Shariful Islam (Retd.), the company’s chief administrative and human resources officer, delivered the keynote, detailing investment prospects and infrastructural strengths designed to attract new industries.
Rezaul Karim Badsha, Member of Parliament for Bogura-6, attended as chief guest, while Md. Mosharraf Hossain, MP for Bogura-4, spoke as special guest. A. K. M. Ahsanul Tayeb Zakir, administrator of Bogura District Council, and M.S.M. Atiqur Rahman Badal, president of the Bogura Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also addressed the gathering, focusing on industrialization and regional economic growth.
The event forms part of SEZL’s broader strategy to position Sirajganj Economic Zone as a destination for future industrial investment in Bangladesh’s northern region, as the government continues efforts to expand economic zones nationwide to boost manufacturing capacity and export diversification.
