The 21st Guangzhou International Textile, Clothing & Printing Industry Expo, set for May 19-21 at the China Import & Export Fair Complex, is poised to be Asia’s premier showcase of textile, apparel, and printing innovations. The four-day event will bring together over 1,500 exhibitors and attract more than 50,000 visitors, including global buyers, manufacturers, and industry professionals.

Organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC), the expo emphasizes sustainability, smart manufacturing, and digital innovation, reflecting current trends in eco-conscious and high-tech textile production. Exhibitors will feature a wide spectrum of products, from cotton, wool, silk, and synthetic fibers to functional fabrics, recycled materials, and advanced smart textiles.

“Demand for sustainable fabrics and smart manufacturing solutions has never been higher,” said Liang Wei, spokesperson for the expo. “This year’s edition highlights eco-friendly materials, digital printing technologies, and innovations that are shaping the future of the textile and apparel industry.”

The event will cover multiple sectors including textiles and fabrics, clothing and apparel, printing and dyeing technology, machinery, and sustainability-focused innovations. Major exhibitors confirmed include Esquel Group, Texhong Textile Group, Guangzhou Tasion Industrial Co., Ltd., and Fujian Lianfa Textile Co., Ltd., showcasing the latest in industrial fabrics, fashion apparel, digital printing, and garment manufacturing machinery.

The printing segment is expected to attract particular attention, featuring digital textile printing, dyeing machinery, and advanced finishing technologies. These innovations enable manufacturers to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and customize designs at scale.

Sustainability is a key focus, with recycled and eco-friendly fabrics taking center stage.
