Intex & InMac Sri Lanka 2026: Dual Powerhouses to Drive US$8 Billion Apparel Goal

Sri Lanka’s textile and apparel industry will bring together global suppliers, manufacturers and technology providers at the co-located Intex and InMac Sri Lanka exhibitions from Aug. 5-7, 2026, as the country works toward its goal of increasing apparel exports to $8 billion by 2030.

The events, to be held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, will feature more than 300 companies from over 15 countries and regions, making it the largest edition of the exhibitions to date.

Intex Sri Lanka, an international textile sourcing exhibition, will showcase fibres, yarns, fabrics, apparel accessories and sustainable materials, aiming to connect manufacturers with buyers from South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Running alongside Intex, InMac Sri Lanka will focus on garment manufacturing technology, with exhibitors presenting automation, sewing, cutting, digital printing and environmentally friendly finishing solutions to support productivity and manufacturing efficiency.

“Our largest China Pavilion and strong Indian participation reflect deep global confidence in Sri Lanka,” said Arti Bhagat, Executive Director of Worldex India. “By integrating global raw materials with advanced machinery, Intex and InMac provide the blueprint to support Sri Lanka’s 2030 export ambitions.”

The exhibitions will also host the Interactive Business Forum (IBF), featuring seminars on circularity, sustainability, digital transformation and smart manufacturing, alongside business-to-business meetings between domestic and international buyers.

The exhibitions are organised by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt. Ltd. and are endorsed by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB), the Industrial Development Board (IDB), the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and other industry associations.
