TextileGenesis today organized an exclusive supplier workshop in Bangladesh to gather firsthand insights from supply-chain partners on the usability of its digital traceability platform and understand areas for further improvement.
The session brought together different types of suppliers, including traders and manufacturers working with both sustainable and conventional materials. The interactive workshop provided suppliers with an opportunity to share their experiences, raise challenges and discuss their expectations directly with the TextileGenesis team.
Shahana Akter Kiron, Regional Lead, TextileGenesis, emphasized that supply-chain members are an important source of feedback for improving the platform and resolving practical challenges faced by suppliers.
“Supply-chain members are a key point from where we get ideas about our improvement areas. We are closely working to resolve supplier issues by arranging this type of event,” she said.

Throughout the session, Afroza Akter Shimu, Customer Success Manager, TextileGenesis, guided participants through the platform and shared practical tips to help them navigate and resolve common issues.
The suppliers responded positively to the initiative and expressed interest in having more in-person workshops in the future. Several participants highlighted that such sessions provide valuable opportunities for direct interaction, knowledge sharing and stronger engagement among supply-chain members.
The workshop itself reflected TextileGenesis’ emphasis on supplier engagement as a key part of successful digital traceability adoption.
The day concluded with a group photo and an exchange of gratitude between the TextileGenesis team and participating suppliers, marking a successful day of learning, feedback and collaboration.
