South Korean apparel manufacturer Youngone Group said it has surpassed $100 million in cumulative donations to humanitarian organization World Vision, marking a major milestone in a partnership spanning more than three decades.

The company held a commemorative plaque unveiling in Seoul to recognize the achievement, with Chairman Sung Ki-hak and World Vision International President Andrew Morley in attendance. Youngone said its contributions since 1993 have supported child sponsorship programs, emergency relief and long-term community development initiatives across more than 20 countries.

The milestone carries particular weight for Bangladesh, one of Youngone’s largest global manufacturing hubs. The group operates extensive textile and garment facilities in the country and is a key supplier to major international outdoor and sportswear brands sourcing from South Asia.

Analysts say large-scale philanthropic engagement is becoming an increasingly important component of environmental, social and governance expectations in the global apparel supply chain. Companies with deep production footprints in countries such as Bangladesh are under growing pressure from buyers and stakeholders to demonstrate measurable social impact alongside commercial performance.

Youngone has previously supported humanitarian responses in Bangladesh, including disaster relief efforts, while continuing to expand its industrial investments in the country. The company indicated it plans to maintain support for communities in regions where it has significant operational presence, reinforcing the link between its global manufacturing network and long-term social responsibility agenda.
