The 20th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo (BDE), one of the world’s leading denim sourcing platforms, will take place on 10–11 June 2026 at Hall 04 of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, bringing together global stakeholders to discuss the future of the denim and apparel industry.
The two-day event will be inaugurated by Bangladesh’s Minister of Commerce, Industries, Textile and Jute, Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, and is expected to attract more than 50 exhibitors from over 10 countries, showcasing innovations across the entire denim value chain—from fibers, fabrics and accessories to washing, finishing and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Organized by the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange, the expo will be held under the theme “Frontline to Future,” reflecting Bangladesh’s ambition to transform its globally recognized apparel sector into a more innovative, sustainable and future-ready industry.
According to Mostafiz Uddin, Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo, the event aims to showcase not only innovative products but also the ideas and strategies that will define the future of the global denim industry.
“For more than four decades, Bangladesh’s apparel industry has stood at the frontline of global fashion—absorbing pressure, driving growth and delivering value to the world. The 20th Bangladesh Denim Expo arrives at a pivotal moment for the industry,” he said.

He also emphasized that the theme is more than a reflection of the industry’s current position. “It is a declaration of where Bangladesh is headed—from unlocking green and responsible investment and navigating post-LDC trade agreements to ensuring a just transition for workers and promoting product diversification beyond apparel.”
The 20th edition will highlight four strategic pillars shaping the future of Bangladesh’s denim sector: Smart Bangladesh, Sustainable Destination, Denim Forward and Circular Future, focusing on technology-driven manufacturing, sustainability, innovation and circularity.
In addition to the exhibition, the expo will feature five high-level panel discussions involving policymakers, international buyers, industry leaders, sustainability experts and development partners.

The event is expected to attract more than 1,500 companies and thousands of industry professionals from around the world, reinforcing Bangladesh’s position as a key player in the global denim market and a growing hub for sustainable apparel manufacturing.
With global supply chains undergoing rapid transformation and Bangladesh preparing for its post-LDC graduation era, industry observers view the 20th Bangladesh Denim Expo as an important platform for shaping the next chapter of the country’s apparel and textile sector.
