CEMS-Global USA and CEMS Bangladesh will hold the 25th Bangladesh edition of their Textile Series of Exhibitions from Sept. 2-5 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BCFEC) in Purbachal, Dhaka, marking 25 years of the exhibition series’ engagement with Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.
The four-day exhibition was announced at a press conference on Wednesday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. The event will bring together international suppliers, manufacturers, buyers, sourcing professionals, technology providers and other stakeholders from across the textile and apparel value chain.
The landmark Bangladesh edition will feature three international exhibitions under one platform: the 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, the 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026, and the 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo.
The three exhibitions will collectively cover textile and apparel machinery, production technologies, automation, digital manufacturing systems, yarn, fabrics, trims, accessories, dyestuffs, pigments, textile chemicals and specialty chemical solutions.
Representing CEMS-Global at the press conference were Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA & Asia-Pacific; S.S. Sarwar, Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA; Tanveer Qamrul Islam, Executive Director of CEMS-Global; and Abhishek Das, Group Director of CEMS-Global.
The 25th anniversary marks a significant milestone for the exhibition series, which has operated alongside the rapid expansion of Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.
When CEMS-Global launched the Bangladesh edition 25 years ago, the country’s textile and apparel sector was entering a period of major industrial expansion. Since then, Bangladesh has emerged as a major global apparel manufacturing and sourcing destination, while factories have invested in modernization, backward-linkage industries, vertical integration, productivity, compliance, sustainability and increasingly sophisticated manufacturing capabilities.
Over the past quarter-century, the exhibition series has connected Bangladeshi manufacturers with international suppliers of machinery, technology, yarn, fabrics, accessories, dyestuffs, chemicals and other production solutions.
The exhibitions have also provided factory owners, manufacturers, sourcing professionals, merchandisers, engineers, designers and production teams with opportunities to meet international suppliers, compare technologies, evaluate solutions, establish sourcing relationships and develop long-term business partnerships.
CEMS-Global said the Textile Series has evolved from an exhibition into an annual industry marketplace and meeting point for Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector.

Focus on machinery, automation and digital manufacturing
The 25th Textech Bangladesh 2026 International Expo will focus on textile and apparel machinery, production technologies, automation, digital manufacturing systems and productivity-enhancing solutions.
As manufacturers worldwide face pressure to produce faster, smarter and more efficiently, investment in automation, digitalization, energy efficiency and advanced manufacturing technologies is becoming increasingly important.
Textech Bangladesh will allow industry professionals to evaluate these technologies directly and identify solutions aimed at improving productivity, quality, flexibility and competitiveness.
A new Digital Transformation Zone at Hall B will showcase digital machinery and automation solutions designed to improve productivity, efficiency and smart management in the textile and apparel sector.
The 26th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2026 will provide sourcing heads, merchandisers, designers, buying houses and apparel manufacturers with direct access to international manufacturers and suppliers of yarn, fabrics, trims, accessories and related materials.
With global fashion cycles accelerating and buyers demanding greater product diversification, innovation and speed to market, access to new materials and reliable international suppliers has become strategically important for Bangladesh’s apparel industry, CEMS-Global said.
Meanwhile, the 53rd DyeChem Bangladesh 2026 International Expo will showcase dyestuffs, pigments, textile chemicals, auxiliaries and specialty chemical solutions required by Bangladesh’s textile processing sector.
The exhibition will place particular emphasis on sustainable processing, resource efficiency, environmental compliance and cleaner textile manufacturing.
Sustainability and technology reshape global textile industry
The 25th anniversary edition comes as the global textile and apparel industry undergoes significant changes.
Buyers are placing greater emphasis on sustainability, traceability, shorter lead times, supply-chain resilience, flexibility, transparency and responsible manufacturing, while automation, artificial intelligence, digital production systems and data-driven manufacturing are reshaping factories worldwide.
For Bangladesh, the next phase of growth will increasingly depend not only on manufacturing volume but also on technology, productivity, innovation, diversification, sustainability and value addition, according to CEMS-Global.
The exhibition series is being positioned around these priorities, connecting the industry with technologies, materials, knowledge and international partnerships required for its next stage of development.
More than 1,475 companies have exhibited
During the four-day exhibitions, BCFEC is expected to bring together textile and garment manufacturers, factory owners, production managers, merchandisers, sourcing professionals, buying houses, engineers, designers, importers, distributors, international suppliers and other industry stakeholders.
The exhibitions will facilitate business discussions, sourcing opportunities, technology evaluation, supplier development, networking and cross-border collaboration.
Four international seminars will run alongside the exhibitions, bringing together industry experts, technology providers, business leaders and policymakers to discuss innovation, emerging technologies, sustainability and future trends.
According to CEMS-Global, the exhibition series has collectively hosted more than 1,475 exhibiting companies, 2,245 booths and pavilions, participants from 37 countries and more than 16,000 business visitors.
For international manufacturers and suppliers, Bangladesh represents an important textile and apparel manufacturing market. For Bangladesh’s industry, meanwhile, the exhibition provides an opportunity to meet global suppliers and explore technologies without having to travel abroad.
CEMS-Global looks to next chapter
CEMS-Global said the 25th anniversary is a celebration of both Bangladesh’s industrial transformation and the international partnerships that have contributed to it.
The company said the first 25 years helped connect Bangladesh with the global textile supply chain, while the next chapter will focus on helping the industry connect with technologies, innovations and partnerships that will shape the future of manufacturing.
From Sept. 2-5, 2026, the global textile industry will converge in Dhaka for the 25th Bangladesh edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions.
