Knit Asia Group will showcase its finished garment portfolio at the Factory Innovation Pavilion of Textile Innovation Expo 2026, positioning value-added sweater manufacturing and modernized production capability at the center of its exhibit.

Knit Asia Ltd. and Aurum Sweater Ltd., both part of New Asia Group, said they have sharpened their focus on higher-value products, modernization and sustainable manufacturing in recent years. At the expo, the group plans to present finished garments alongside its manufacturing capabilities, giving brands, buyers and industry professionals a direct look at how product development, material selection, design and factory-level execution come together.

Aurum Sweater has been expanding into premium sweater categories and more sophisticated materials, reflecting a broader industry shift toward value creation through manufacturing rather than production volume alone.

Textile Innovation Expo 2026, organized under the Textile Innovation Exchange platform, runs November 12-14 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. Organizers have billed the event as a flagship gathering aimed at positioning innovation as a driver of operational resilience, competitiveness and growth for Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector.

Amer Salim, director of Knit Asia Ltd. and Aurum Sweater Ltd., said the group was looking forward to its participation. “We are going to be participating at the Innovation Expo, and we are very excited about it. It’s going to be a great event,” Salim said, adding that he expected the gathering to offer a valuable learning opportunity as factories share their work with the wider industry.

The Factory Innovation Pavilion is designed to bring manufacturers into the exhibition space to present real examples of innovation in products, processes, technologies and manufacturing practices, rather than limiting factory-level progress to technical presentations alone. For Knit Asia Group, that means displaying both its manufacturing approach and the garments that result from it, including sweater products and other value-added developments.

The company’s participation reflects a wider trend among Bangladeshi manufacturers, who are increasingly emphasizing product development, sustainability, quality and flexibility alongside basic production efficiency. Organizers said the showcase would also give international buyers, brands and technology providers a chance to engage directly with the group and gauge the type of higher-value products Bangladesh’s apparel industry is now capable of producing.

Textile Innovation Expo 2026 is expected to draw manufacturers, brands, buyers, technology providers, researchers and textile professionals, with dedicated areas covering factory innovation, textile materials, dyeing and printing, garment automation, and green and sustainable technologies.
