Barbie and Reebok have unveiled a signature doll and matching basketball shoe honoring Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese, timed to the WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago.

Mattel‘s Barbie brand introduced a Signature doll modeled on Reese alongside the debut of the Reebok Angel Reese 1 in an exclusive “Barbie” colorway, marking the first time the doll maker’s collaboration with the sportswear brand has extended to a performance basketball silhouette.

The pairing was revealed at TOGETHXR House, an immersive fan experience in Chicago co-hosted by TOGETHXR, the women’s sports media company that Reese co-owns. The exhibit, staged inside a “Dream Closet” activation, was open to the public on July 24 and 25 during All-Star festivities, giving fans an early in-person look at both products before their staggered retail rollout.

“Having my own Barbie doll is a true dream come true for me,” Reese said. “It’s such an incredible honor because it’s about showing girls that there are no limits to what they can achieve.” She added that she has never let anyone else define what is possible for her and hopes the doll reminds girls to be unapologetically themselves and chase their goals with confidence.

Nathan Baynard, vice president and head of Barbie at Mattel, said the brand honors role models who inspire girls and that Reese’s Signature doll and Reebok collaboration reflect that mission. Reebok Chief Executive Todd Krinsky said the partnership celebrates Reese’s impact on sport, style and culture while letting fans match her look and be part of the moment.

The Angel Reese Barbie Signature doll, priced at $38, went on sale July 24 exclusively in stores at Target, with additional online availability through Target, Walmart, Amazon and Mattel Shop. The doll is dressed in a pink “Angel” No. 5 basketball jersey, carries a Barbie-branded basketball, and wears a matching headband and leg cover alongside the same Barbie-themed Angel Reese 1 sneaker built for retail release. A Barbie silhouette appears on the doll’s jersey tag, tying the collectible directly to the sneaker drop through shared branding cues.

The footwear itself, the Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Barbie,” is scheduled to launch August 3 at 10 a.m. ET through Reebok.com, Foot Locker and DICK’s Sporting Goods, in both adult and grade-school sizing priced at $160 and $130 respectively. The shoe retains the Angel Reese 1’s sculpted, wing-like midfoot cage but reworks it in a cream-and-white base, with hot-pink patent detailing across the heel and collar, magenta laces, a matching mesh tongue and mint-tinted panels visible through the cutouts. Barbie branding appears on the tongue and heel tag, with a yellow accent at the top eyelet and vamp nodding to Mattel’s toy packaging.

The rollout follows Reese’s early-season trade from the Chicago Sky to the Atlanta Dream, announced in April in exchange for Atlanta’s first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028 and a second-round pick swap. Reese, the WNBA’s rebounding leader in each of her first two professional seasons after being drafted seventh overall in 2024, carried the “Bayou Barbie” nickname from her collegiate career at LSU, where she led the Tigers to a national championship and won Most Outstanding Player honors, into a “Chi Barbie” identity during her Chicago tenure before the move to Atlanta. She has continued that rebounding pace this season, averaging a double-double for the Dream.

A limited apparel capsule tied to the launch includes a custom jersey, T-shirts and headwear, and the Atlanta Dream are set to host a Barbie Game Day on August 3 to coincide with the shoe’s release. The collaboration extends Reebok’s push into WNBA signature footwear as the league’s commercial profile continues to expand, following the brand’s earlier release of the standard Angel Reese 1 colorway, “Mebounds,” which retailed for $120 in September 2025. The Barbie tie-up also builds on an earlier Barbie x Reebok apparel collection, pushing the partnership onto a performance basketball shoe for the first time and giving Reese another marquee brand deal alongside her ownership stake in TOGETHXR.
