The Trust Protocol, launched in 2020, has reported sustained growth in enrolled acreage and membership, with its latest annual data showing continued improvements in environmental metrics such as water use efficiency, energy reduction and soil health while expanding traceability tools for brands.

Industry sources say the appointments aim to strengthen the programme’s ability to meet rising demand for verified sustainable cotton amid evolving regulatory and commercial pressures.
