The show comes as Canadian apparel businesses navigate changing trade policies, import rules and evolving supply-chain arrangements. A dedicated Canadian Apparel Trade Update on the opening day is examining import statistics, policy changes affecting developing-country suppliers, free-trade agreements and labour compliance.

A major new feature this year is the Outdoors Pavilion, a dedicated sourcing zone for outdoor, active and technical apparel. The pavilion covers hiking and trail apparel, ski and snow gear, camp and play wear, footwear and accessories, technical fabrics and private-label manufacturing.

The event also provides a platform for international manufacturers to connect directly with Canadian retailers, brands, sourcing professionals and importers. Organisers list major buyers and companies from the apparel, retail and sourcing sectors among the event’s notable participants.

For textile and apparel manufacturers, the Canadian market offers opportunities to diversify customer bases and develop direct buyer relationships. For Canadian buyers, the event provides access to suppliers across multiple production regions at a time when sourcing strategies are being reassessed.

Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada 2026 runs through Sept. 25, with the organiser positioning the event as a platform for global apparel sourcing, industry education, networking and supply-chain development.
