The 30th Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS 2026) will open on October 6 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, bringing together textile innovators and industry suppliers to showcase sustainable materials, functional fabrics and intelligent manufacturing technologies.

The three-day exhibition, running through October 8, is expected to feature around 400 exhibitors from across the globe, with more than 1,000 booths, according to the official event website. The show aims to connect textile manufacturers, technology developers and international buyers seeking advanced materials and production solutions.

TITAS has identified sustainability, functional applications and intelligent manufacturing as its three core themes, reflecting growing industry interest in resource-efficient production, high-performance materials and technology-driven manufacturing.

Exhibits are expected to cover sports textiles, technical fabrics, recycled materials, bio-based fibres and low-impact production processes. Functional applications include moisture management, cooling, antibacterial performance, water repellency and durability, targeting apparel, outdoor wear, healthcare and industrial markets.

Sustainability is expected to remain a major focus, with exhibitors presenting recycled textile materials, textile-to-textile recycling initiatives, energy-saving dyeing technologies and alternative fibres designed to reduce environmental impacts.

Manufacturing technology will also feature prominently, particularly machinery, sewing equipment and intelligent production systems intended to improve efficiency, quality control and manufacturing capabilities.

Ahead of the exhibition, participating companies have begun announcing product developments. Chainlon and UNIAITEX, for example, plan to present cooling technologies, recycled materials and integrated textile solutions, combining yarn development with fabric engineering and smart manufacturing.

For textile producers and sourcing professionals, the exhibition provides an opportunity to assess emerging technologies, explore supplier relationships and identify materials aligned with changing brand requirements and environmental expectations.

As competition intensifies across global textile supply chains, events such as TITAS offer manufacturers a platform to demonstrate innovation and explore opportunities in higher-value textile segments.

The exhibition’s emphasis on performance, sustainability and intelligent production highlights the industry’s continuing shift towards differentiated products and more efficient manufacturing processes.
