Organisers said more than 1,000 exhibitors had already confirmed participation ahead of the event, reflecting continued demand for international sourcing, product development and networking despite pressure on the global fashion industry.

LINEAPELLE covers materials and components used across footwear, leather goods, clothing, furniture and related industries. Its product mix includes leather, fabrics, synthetic materials, accessories and components, giving it fair relevance across several parts of the fashion supply chain.

The Milan event will also coincide with Simac Tanning Tech, a major exhibition focused on machinery and technology for footwear, leather goods and tanning. LINEAPELLE will again host FILO, the international yarn and fibre exhibition, within its exhibition space, creating additional opportunities for cross-sector sourcing and business connections.

Sustainability, traceability and technology are expected to feature prominently in discussions at the fair, alongside artificial intelligence, materials research and changing market conditions. The event programme includes fashion trend presentations and sessions examining developments across the leather and fashion supply chains.

LINEAPELLE’s previous Milan edition in September 2025 attracted 21,433 professional operators and 1,150 exhibitors, with visitors from 109 countries, according to the organiser. The figures underline the show’s role as a major international platform for the fashion, luxury and design manufacturing sectors.

For textile and apparel manufacturers, the fair offers insight into material trends and sourcing directions ahead of the Winter 2027/28 season. Its combination of raw materials, components, technology and design also provides a window into how suppliers are adapting to changing consumer demand and sustainability requirements.

With global fashion brands under growing pressure to improve traceability, reduce environmental impacts and maintain competitive supply chains, LINEAPELLE is expected to serve as an important forum for the industry’s next phase of material and product development.
