HeiQ and Archroma have won the International Textile Manufacturers Federation’s (ITMF) International Collaboration Award 2026 for their partnership on antimicrobial and odour-control technologies, the companies said on Monday.
ITMF named two winners, with Lenzing and Armedangels also honoured. The HeiQ and Archroma entry was titled “Alone we Innovate. Together we Scale.” The awards recognise textile partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The partnership pairs Archroma’s global commercial and technical network with HeiQ’s expertise in high-performance, sustainable materials. Under a co-marketing agreement, HeiQ’s anti-odour technologies reach textile mills, brands and retailers through Archroma’s customer base, making functional finishes easier to adopt.

Dhirendra Gautam, Archroma’s vice president of marketing, said the award validates that “innovation has greater impact when it is made accessible at scale.”
HeiQ executive Raquel Vaz Vieira said the collaboration shows what organisations with complementary strengths can achieve around a shared purpose.
Archroma, based in Switzerland’s Basel-Landschaft canton, operates in 42 countries and employs over 4,000 people. HeiQ is a spin-off from ETH Zurich.
The winners will present their projects at the ITMF and IAF Conference 2026 in Fortaleza, Brazil, on Oct 14-15. ITMF, founded in 1904, represents the global textile industry.
