Bangladesh will host Global Sourcing Expo 2026 in Dhaka from Nov. 15 to 17, aiming to showcase export strengths beyond the garment sector that has long defined its trade profile, according to the event’s official website.
The Export Promotion Bureau-backed exhibition will take place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, bringing together global buyers, manufacturers, exporters and sourcing professionals for three days of business meetings and trade promotion.
Organisers said the expo will cover 12 sectors, including apparel and textiles, leather, jute and handicrafts, agro-processed foods, pharmaceuticals, information and communication technology, furniture, plastics, packaging, automobiles, light engineering, and ceramics.
More than 200 organisations are expected to exhibit, and a dedicated portal will support business-to-business matchmaking. The programme also includes seminars on trade trends, sustainability, market access and digital trade, alongside factory visits, networking forums, a cultural evening and a fashion show.

Bangladesh is the world’s second-largest apparel exporter, the organisers said, and the expo is designed to support the government’s push for product and market diversification. Buyers and importers from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and beyond are expected to attend, and participants can meet trade delegations and export promotion boards such as MATRADE, Vietrade, TDAP and SLEDB.
Visitor registration closes on Nov. 14, while the exhibitor deadline was Oct. 30, the website said. Official hospitality partners include InterContinental Dhaka, Le Meridien Dhaka, Pan Pacific, Radisson, Westin, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre and Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, with U-Bangla Airline named as the airline partner.
The organisers said the platform would let exporters, innovators and brands launch new product lines and explore collaborations, trade deals and investment partnerships, while giving international buyers direct access to Bangladeshi suppliers across emerging industries. Inquiries can be directed to the Export Promotion Bureau in Dhaka, organisers added.
